Thrashed
I grabbed this one at Road America on August 22nd during the American Le Mans Series races. There were a few changes to the lineup since I last attended in ‘08 but the awesome vibe remained. Nothing quite like sunshine, race girls, and loud cars (which turn both left AND right by the way). The open atmosphere is what draws me the most. You get the feeling like there really aren’t too many places which are off limits to spectators. The drivers were mixing it up quite a bit, and this particular crash happened right before turn 12. I have quite a few shots I really like from the day but the PP on them will be slightly more difficult. Hopefully I will get to them before another shoot steals my attention.
